The Organizing Committee of the 20th ICDL invites all interested to submit abstracts for the conference.

All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and, if accepted, the author/s will be asked to submit a full paper which will be assigned to the appropriate session based on the author’s application and program requirements.

The deadline for abstract submission is 31 October 2018 (16 September 2018)

For each registration a maximum of 2 papers are accepted.
An extra fee must be paid for any additional paper (exceeding 2) submitted by the same author.

REQUIREMENTS for abstract

  • Abstracts submission deadline: October 31, 2018   September 16, 2018. We invite authors to submit abstracts in time, this will help to conclude the review process in due time, thus avoiding delays of the whole editorial process.
  • One-page abstracts must be written in English.
  • All abstracts must be submitted only via the online submission system.
  • Authors must fill out all abstract details and authors’ information following the online abstract submission procedure. Each abstract must include the paper title, authors’ names, affiliations and e-mail addresses. Submitting authors will be asked to select at least two topics among the list proposed for the conference.
  • Acknowledgment of submission will be sent to the e-mail address provided by the submitting author. Please make sure that a confirmation e-mail is received after making the submission. If this e-mail confirmation is not received, it means we have not received the abstract.
  • It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure the accuracy of the abstract.

Requirements for PAPER

  • Paper submission deadline: January 21 2019. We invite authors to submit papers in time, this will help to conclude the review process in due time, thus avoiding delays of the whole editorial process.
  • At least one author of each accepted paper must register to the conference. 
  • Papers must be written on an A4-size page layout according to the IEEE conference paper template. Manuscripts of up to four (4) pages in length are published at no charge to the authors, provided that an author presents the paper at the conference.  Up to four (4) additional pages may be included, but authors will be required to pay. The fee for each additional page is 80 euro. Submissions exceeding six (6) pages will not be accepted.
  • Please download the “Microsoft Word template” or other formats (e.g. Latex) from the IEEE website.
  • Conference papers are to be submitted electronically (.pdf form), with file size limited to 2 MB. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings, and included in the IEEE Xplore® online digital library.
    IEEE is very strict with the requirements for converting application files or PostScript files to PDF for inclusion in IEEE Xplore®. Please follow the instructions in Simplified Requirements for Creating PDF Files for IEEE Xplore ®” which describes the essential steps in distilling PDFs that meet IEEE requirements.
  • Please note that all final papers must be converted using PDFexpress from the following link in accordance with the IEEE PDF specification. Please go to the IEEE PDF eXpress site at pdf-express.org or click the following button to register at IEEE PDF eXpress.
    Please use Conference ID: 44390 to register in the IEEE PDF eXpress webpage. New users have to create an account in IEEE PDF eXpress using their email address and the conference ID.
